The traveling exhibition "In Search of the Mary Rose" presented a collection of 16th-century artifacts recovered from Henry VIII's ship, the Mary Rose, which sank in 1545. The exhibit had two objectives: to tell the 20th century story of the recovery of the remains of the ship; and, through interpretation of the artifacts, to illuminate the history of maritime life in Tudor England.
